Your workspace

What a workspace is, how it relates to your organisation, and how to set it up.

What a workspace is

A workspace represents one organisation. It owns:

  • the clinics and locations you monitor,
  • the people who can see them and what each can do,
  • the subscription, plan limits, and invoices,
  • the audit trail of who changed what.

Every piece of data in Verinten belongs to exactly one workspace. Nothing is shared between workspaces, and no member of one workspace can see anything in another.

Creating one

You must have verified your email first. You provide:

FieldWhy it is asked
Organisation nameShown throughout the product and on invoices
Workspace addressThe short name in your URLs; must be unique
CountryTax calculation and default formatting
Time zoneReport scheduling and timestamps
LanguageInterface language for the workspace default
Billing emailWhere invoices and billing notices are sent

The workspace address is not a password

Your workspace address appears in URLs. It identifies the workspace; it does not grant access to it. Access is decided from your session on the server for every page and every action. Somebody who knows or guesses your workspace address gains nothing by it.

Switching between workspaces

If you belong to more than one workspace, use the workspace switcher in the application header. Switching changes the whole context — clinics, team, billing, and analytics attribution all follow the workspace you are in.

Leaving and deleting

Any member can leave a workspace, except the last remaining Owner — a workspace must always have at least one. To leave as the sole Owner, first transfer ownership. See Team and roles.

An Owner can delete the workspace. Deletion is durable and irreversible; see Deleting your data for what it removes and what is legally required to survive it.
