In counsel review — not yet binding. This document is published for transparency while Verinten prepares for launch. It is not yet the binding version of this policy.
Never submit patient information. Verinten analyses public business reputation only. Do not include medical records, treatment details, identity documents, or any information about an identifiable patient.
1. The patient-data prohibition
You must not submit, upload, paste, or otherwise transmit to Verinten any of the following, in any field, form, message, or attachment:
- patient names, contact details, or identity documents;
- medical records, diagnoses, treatment plans, or prescriptions;
- clinical photographs or imaging;
- insurance, payment, or booking records identifying a patient;
- any other information from which an individual patient could be identified.
This applies whether or not the individual has consented. Verinten is not built to hold this data, does not have the controls appropriate to it, and will reject submissions that appear to contain it. Repeated attempts are grounds for suspension.
2. Ownership of the businesses you monitor
You may only add clinics, locations, and public profiles that you own or are authorised to manage. Competitors may be added for comparison, using public information only — that is the intended use, and it does not extend to any attempt to access non-public information about them.
3. Individuals
Verinten must not be used to identify, profile, contact, retaliate against, or otherwise target an individual who has written a public review or post. The service exists to understand business reputation. Using it against a person is a breach of these terms.
4. Prohibited uses
- Presenting a Verinten score as a clinical quality measure, a regulatory certification, or a medical endorsement.
- Attempting to access another workspace’s data, or to circumvent plan limits, rate limits, or authorisation controls.
- Automated bulk extraction of the service beyond your plan’s allowance.
- Uploading malicious content, or using the service to distribute it.
- Any unlawful purpose, or any use that would place Verinten in breach of a third-party platform’s terms.
5. Reporting a breach
If you believe the service is being misused — including a source profile wrongly attributed to a clinic — tell us through the contact form. Security issues should go to the security contact on the security page.
6. Consequences
Where a breach is remediable, we will describe the problem and give you an opportunity to fix it. Where it is not — or where it puts patients, individuals, or the service at risk — we may suspend access immediately and will explain why.
